TUSNE gathered in Edinburgh in March to discuss the latest developments across the nuclear sector and the continued need to support nuclear workers throughout the UK.
In Morecambe, Lancashire, just a stone’s throw from Heysham nuclear power station, TUSNE held its final plenary of the year. It provided an important opportunity to reflect on the progress made across the civil nuclear sector this year and to look ahead to the challenges and opportunities that lie before it.
In the House of Lords, union representatives from across the civil nuclear sector met to discuss supporting the workforce, with a clear message that sustaining momentum and adopting a fleet deployment approach are key to the industry’s long-term success.
